The MLK Parade and Celebration was phenomenal. Following the Parade was a big Celebration at the Moreno Valley Community Park. It was a pleasure to see so many vendors networking and having a good time. The entertainment was great. The food was delicious! I personally enjoyed some of the best catfish and shrimp I have had all compliments of Darren King, Owner, Big Dee’s Texas BBQ & Seafood (909) 841-3426. I applaud Linda Wright, President/CEO/Founder, Moreno Valley Black Chamber of Commerce (MVBCC), for doing an incredible job of making the Parade and Celebration such a huge success! I thank all the people who supported her in this effort. I am already looking forward to next year!

After the Parade, me along with my friend Gina Quinn, Unlimited Financial Solutions, Inc., headed over to the California Writers Collective Workshop, which was held at the Salvation Army. Catherine Key-Williams, Writer, coordinated the Workshop. It was a delight to meet high-energy, talented, and positive Authors. Among them were Charles L. Chatmon, Anna Christian, and Nina Corbett. I am sure that all the guests will agree that this event was informative, motivating, and fun! I truly felt like I was among long-time friends and family.

I would like to thank Catherine Key-Williams for coordinating this event. Ms. Key-Williams’ hospitality and motivating spirit was very much appreciated. Also, a BIG thank you to Charles L. Chatmon for being such a brilliant Author and kind-hearted person.
