Over the years, Iona learned a great deal about self and business. She graciously teaches others as she continues to excel. Iona is the Author of her first book Poetic Lyricist. She is proud to claim the title of Plus Size Model. As an Actress, she played her first role in the movie "Impressions." She is the CEO of Lyricist Magazine and President of Voluptuous Secret for the plus size model community. In addition, she has worked with Dilliards women fall fashion show, advertised in Akua & NYC Dimes Magazines, and D.I.G. D.A.T. lingerie line. Iona's goal is to build up her ability to let society know from her point of view how plus size figures have helped her over the years and to be seen and noticed across the nation. This constructive plus-size modeling group is lead by Iona Gaines, Author of Poetic Lyricist, a plus model, actress, and CEO. The vision Voluptuous Secret was built upon is Respect, Professionalism, Beauty (inside and out), and Pride. The ladies of this group are comprised of multiple ethnic backgrounds, ages, represent different States, and provide a variety of looks certain to tantalize anybody! All of our models have experience in front of the camera, as well as consists of local talk-show hosts, business professionals, musicians, mothers, and of course models! Furthermore, these women are leaders in their communities, role models and truly believe that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Voluptuous Secret should by no means be compared to Victoria Secret or any other modeling group, because Voluptuous Secret represents every woman no matter her size or shape. Introduction to Poetic Lyricist Iona "Yonna" Gaines, Author
This book talks about Love and Relationships. God
takes us through things for a reason. Iona has been through these things
constantly. Iona has a problem with the inevitable and accepting it. Since she
was 12 years old, she began writing poetry expressing her feelings on paper;
some teenage years' poetry wasnt recovered. Iona took those disasters,
love, friendship, happiness, etc...; and combined a story in poetry. Iona
then learned not to repeat these lustful feelings and found the love of her
life whos been by her side since then. She learned to be happy and be
thankful for happiness and friends. Most happiness comes from God and God
sends special friends to you to make you happy. Sure were going to be down
sometimes, but when you have that real true friend, then you become happy
all over again. A true friend is one who stands by you, honoring and
affirming you in your marriage and family. A true friend should desire to
see you prosper in your life, your finances, in your health, and in your
relationship with the Lord. With these virtues, you can hurtle personal
imperfection and indiscretion. A true friend really is one of the best gifts
God will ever give you. Commit to stay; commit to be strong; and commit to
celebrate all he has given you in your friend. For the Bible says "a friend
loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity."
