Since we are not your employees but work as independent contractors, we pay our own taxes and other supplementary benefits. You are only responsible for paying us for the hours we work for you. Therefore, you won’t need to pay for employee lunch breaks, sick time, holidays, vacations, or down time. You will only need to pay us for productive hours. By utilizing our services, you also eliminate the need to pay your current staff overtime hours. You will avoid temporary employment agency fees. One of our staff can be your "permanent" temporary employee. You will not need to sink capital on equipment and office rental. What are your business hours?

Avis Business Services hours are convenient to fit your needs.  We are available 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM.  For administrative services, arrangements can be made for evenings, weekends, and holiday requests.

How many hours will you work for my business?

A:

There is no set hourly schedule.  If you require our administrative services for a few hours or more than eight hours a day, we are available to assist you.  If needed, we are available for evenings, weekends, and holiday requests.

Are you available to work on site at my business?

A:

If you are looking for a top-notch assistant to work on site at your place of business, Avis Business Services can assist you.  We would be happy to come to your office to cover staff vacations, sick leaves, maternity leaves, or to assist you on a temporary basis.  We are available to work on site a few hours or more, as needed.  On-site hours that exceed eight hours a day is considered overtime pay and will be paid at a rate of time and one half.  On-site evening hours, weekend hours, and holiday hours worked are to be paid at a rate of time and one half.  Since we are not your employees but work as independent contractors, we pay our own taxes and other supplementary benefits. You are only responsible for paying us for the hours we work for you. Once the assignment is complete, we will mail you an invoice.  Payment will be due upon receipt of invoice.

For off-site services, how would you receive our work?

A:

When requests are made for off-site administrative services, we will come to your office and pick up the work.  Depending on your needs, we can also correspond via email, overnight mail, or regular mail.  Once the work is complete, we will deliver it to you.  We are available to work off site for a few hours a day or more, as needed.  Since we are not your employees but work as independent contractors, we pay our own taxes and other supplementary benefits. Once the assignment is complete, we will mail you an invoice.  Payment will be due upon receipt of invoice.

What are your rates?

Q: 

Do you have an important document that you want hand delivered to a client?

A:

Whenever you have an important document that you need delivered fast, Avis Business Services can hand deliver it for you.  We deliver business to business only (no home deliveries).  We provide same day deliveries (Monday-Friday) with a cut-off time of 5 PM. Orders placed after that time take precedence for next day delivery.  We deliver documents and small packages (not to exceed 20 lbs.).  Once a delivery is complete, we will mail you an invoice.  Payment will be due upon receipt of invoice. 

 

Q: 

Do you need us to type an Employee Handbook, Policy and Procedures Manual, or a Format and Styles Manual for your company?

 Avis Business Services have fast-accurate word processors who enjoy typing.

 

Q:

Do you have a rolodex with hundreds of business cards that you have collected over the years?  If yes, would you like us to turn those cards into a Microsoft Access database to generate labels for your use?

We love using Microsoft Access!  Therefore, this would be an enjoyable task for us to do for you.  If you do not use Microsoft Access, we can create a mail merge file in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.
